chocolate chips before adding the cocoa powder.
Also, I add
mini chocolate chips (
as much
as I feel needed).
I may add a few
chocolate jimmies or
mini chocolate chips to the batter next time,
as this reminds me of another pistachio treat made with the jimmies.
After coating the apples you can dip in toasted coconut, chopped toasted nuts,

My children like them for breakfast
as well
as afternoon snack.They are delicious
as just a plain banana muffin and also delicious with
mini chocolate chips added in the batter before baking.
I also made some of the cookies
as a thumbprint filling with
mini vegan
chocolate chips.
I used their semisweet
mini chips, but I also love making these with their dark
chocolate morsels
as well!
Then you can always add different toppings to keep things interesting such
as granola or
mini chocolate chips (or both!).
If you like, you can fold in some
mini chocolate chips right into the batter
as well.
A moist banana cupcake (not dense
as most banana cupcakes) is dotted with
mini chocolate chips and topped with a sweet peanut butter frosting.
The melted
chocolate didn't spread
as far
as I wanted so I also added
chocolate chips (a few
mini, and few regular sized) on top.
