Atoms can be thought of
as miniature solar systems, with a nucleus at the centre and electrons orbiting at certain specific distances from it.
The earlier «Bohr model» of the atom could be easily visualized; particle - like electrons were thought to follow orbits around the nucleus, resembling
a miniature solar system.
Not only is it the largest planet in the Sun's family, it also presides over
a miniature solar system of 53 known moons, a system of rings and an immense and powerful magnetic field.
Jupiter is also itself the center of a sort of
miniature solar system, with dozens of moons orbiting around it.
