horror films) has its moments, but it's Wright's trailer for the British
horror flick «Don't» that proves the most effective.
In the opening
minutes, we're introduced to two struggling actresses: Beth (Caitlin FitzGerald), a shy wallflower type, is landing auditions for leading roles in B - level
horror flicks.
Although «The Conjuring 2» isn't without its flaws (the fantastical elements don't work as well as the stuff grounded in reality, and it's much too long at 135
minutes), Wan has delivered yet another effectively creepy
horror flick that earns its scares thanks to some chilling visuals and inventive set pieces.
