Only thing I did differently was cooked the lentils for 20 minutes, then added the sweet potatoes for another 20 minutes, so I think I cut 10
minutes out of the recipe.

I followed the rest
of their
recipe, however, even after freezing for 30
minutes, they never really formed like bars, so the kids just spooned some

They needed 2.5 extra
minutes in the oven (might be because
of the adjustments I made to the
recipe) and they came
out beautiful.
Here's what I changed: I used a 15 - oz can
of pumpkin (not pie filling — just pumpkin puree) in place
of the bananas; I swapped
out the spices for about 1 tsp each
of cinnamon and ginger, and mixed those in with the pumpkin first; I opted for the larger volume
of maple syrup from the original
recipe, as the pumpkin wouldn't contribute sweetness the way the bananas do; I baked the batter as a dozen standard muffins, which took about 20
minutes at 350.
I'm actually in the process
of converting my
recipes to a new system right this very
minute because this has been happening a lot lately (
recipes disappearing from posts), but hopefully it will all be worked
out soon.
But if you don't blind bake it correctly — aka weighted down with beans that none
of the
recipes I tried suggested I do — in a mere 15
minutes of baking, it has the potential to shrink like a shy little flower and come
out looking like the pie crust below.
I checked
out the
recipe and forgot about it for all
of three
minutes.
And I know you will like this
recipe... great for last
minute company... or if you are
out of eggs!

recipe to a tee, had to bake it longer because it was gooey and then after 30 - 35
minutes, finally took
out of oven because very cooked on the outside, but took a bite and still very gooey on the inside.

out exactly as pictured, though required careful removal even with the use

recipe didn't really expound much on that; my first two attempts I just dumped it
out, shaped it and covered it while I got the hot pot
out of the oven (sum total
of 3

The too - hard cookies can be avoided by following the
recipe exactly: six
minutes high, six
minutes low, five
minutes on the pan
out of the oven to finish.
After trying a few gluten free
recipes lately, I decided to add about 4 tablespoons
of almond flour and chopped walnuts to this batter on the first try and then baked them for 22
minutes... turned
out amazing!
Basically, instead
of measuring
out a cup
of flour for a
recipe, I measure
out about 1/2 cup grain, toss it in the mill, and about a
minute later, have freshly ground flour to bake with.
Recipes with minimal cleanup, take only a few
minutes to throw together, and can be done baking by the time I get
out of the shower (I don't take super long showers).
You can actually make this
recipe into mini muffins: Just double the ingredients and bake them in a mini-muffin pan at 300 °F (150 °C) for 10
minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center
of a muffin comes
out almost clean.
Like another reviewer here commented (Petra) there was nothing quick about this 22
minute chicken masala... By the time I was finished washing, slicing, cutting and cooking everything I was in about 3 hours... I doubled this
recipe... It came
out very good looking just like the photo at the top... Some people here commented that the
recipe was bland so I added a 3/4 teaspoon
of both cumin and coriander powder to the sauce... Nothing bland about this... It was on the spicy side... Not marinading the chicken in yogurt didn't make much
of a difference... I used chicken tenders... When are they ever tough or chewy anyway...
I am so guilty
of trying
out new
recipes and rushing at the last
minute when company comes.
There were some minor changes in the
recipe, mostly due to limitations
of my pantry: we do not have frozen apple juice concentrate here so I just finely grated some apples and added a pinch
of sugar, let it sit for a few
minutes to give the juice time to come
out; o) I also used fresh apple juice instead
of the water and didn't have any nuts on hand (silly me forgot to check and realized the were all gone when I as in the middle
of baking) so I just crumbled some Italian nut cookies on top

I saw this
recipe about twenty
minutes ago, and as it turns
out, I had * exactly * 1 3/4 cups
of buttermilk sitting in my fridge - with 14 January as the expiry date.
The
recipe doesn't state it, but they will come
out of the pan more easily if you let them cool for about 5
minutes before removing them.
This bread mix is a staple in my house for 3 reasons: 1) it is the easiest bread mix to make (it literally takes me a total
of 7
minutes from opening
of package to putting in pan), 2) there is an egg - free version
recipe on the bag (turns
out great!)
(3) It is IMPOSSIBLE to roll the dough
out unless it sits at room temperature for at least 15
minutes, so I don't know why the
recipe says to leave the other sections
of dough refrigerated while you roll
out the first and subsequent sections.
Presoak (a must for this
recipe) buckwheat the night before, then add in chia seeds, fresh fruit, and maple syrup for a «soft crunch» in those last five
minutes of quiet before the kids get
out of bed.
This
recipe has always baked in 15 - 16
minutes and they have come
out of the cupcake liners!

out that while similar
recipes call for a baking time
of 25
minutes or so, this is wildly off.

recipe isn't turning
out, decrease the flour by 2 tablespoons per cup, decrease the liquid by 1 tablespoon per cup, and keep in mind that baked goods may take a few
minutes longer to bake through.

recipes with success and these too, I'd just take these Dreamcakes
out of the freezer 20 - 30
minutes before serving so they're not really hard < 3

minutes) so plan accordingly to keep from being totally bummed when you whip this
recipe out needing to stuff your face with cookies ASAP.
