Sauté veggies, whatever is handy (for me it is usually
a mix of onion, cabbage, carrots, zucchini and peppers), in plenty of butter, ghee or coconut oil and once the veggies are soft, drop in two eggs (or leftover meat and one egg works great too) and mix them into the veggie mix.

Walk in the door after a long day
of work or errands or running around with the kids or, heck, even Christmas shopping for those
of you that are more on - the - ball than I am, shred up the tender chicken,
mix it back in with the
onions and apples, pile all onto some toasted crusty bread and add sharp cheddar cheese.

She gave the traditional rice bowl a healthy makeover by laying a bed
of super greens (a
mix of baby red chard, baby tat soi, baby spinach, baby green Swiss chard, and baby arugula) and topping it with cooked Della rice, vine - ripened organic tomatoes, organic avocados, organic roasted red and green peppers, roasted
onions, and grass - fed cooked ground beef flavored with taco seasoning.
The delicious
mix of breakfast and lunch was filling and delicious, the yummy curried potato and kale with sauted
onions was complimented by some iceberg lettuce & carrot salad on the side, and beans on toasted bread added that necessary breakfast - y vibe.
The Chipotle Chicken is bathed in aromatic Mexican spices
of chipotle chili powder for a smoky heat,
mixed with chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic and
onion powder.
It's a glorious
mix of buttery, golden, caramelized
onions; slow - simmered, rich, broth; and crisp baguette topped with melted swiss and parmesan that creates the most epic cheese pull
of all time.
In a large bowl combine chilled mayonnaise (I didn't use quite all
of it) with crabmeat, peppers and

Second might have to be the homemade burgers I made with all sorts
of goodies
mixed in with the ground meat (breadcrumbs, egg, mustard,
onion, etc.).
This reminds me
of my favorite quick / easy / delicious winter dinner: peel and cube a butternut squash, sweat it with a chopped
onion and some garlic in a stockpot until soft,
mix in 1/2 (or whole) can
of coconut milk, add curry powder, salt, and a splash
of sriracha to taste, puree the whole thing (I love my immersion blender!)
Using an electric or hand - held
mixer beat the cream cheese, lemon juice, dill weed,
onion powder, oregano, garlic, and a few grinds
of pepper until light and fluffy.
Or / and for the ones who say it's too thin, I would add a tablespoon
of flour to the pan after saute the
onions, let it cook for a minute, stirring to
mix it well with the
onions.
At the same time, you caramelize some
onions, and then toward the end
of cooking
mix in apple cider vinegar and maple syrup (or agave if you have a maple syrup aversion like I do!
The sauce was a compote
of diced tomatoes and
onions, simmering in the remains
of the fish juices,
mixed with cream, white wine, vegetable stock and spicy paprika powder.
The vegetables done, Mechi opened two cans
of sweet corn kernels, and in a large
mixing bowl, poured in the sautéed
onions, red bell peppers, corn, eggs, some milk cream, cream cheese and salt and pepper.
1) Peel and slice the
onions thinly 2) De-seed red bell pepper and cut into small cubes 3) Saute red bell pepper cubes and sliced
onions until
onions turn slightly soft and transparent 4)
Mix sauteed red bell pepper,
onions, and corn together with eggs, milk cream and cream cheese 5) Season with salt, pepper and ground nutmeg to taste 6) Pre-heat oven to 200 deg cel 7) Grease a round baking tray with olive oil 8) Stretch a tart shell and cover the baking tray entirely 9) Pour in the corn - filling mixture over the tart shell, spreading it out evenly 10) Cover the filling with the second stretched tart shell 11) Use a fork to poke holes in the top tart shell, and then press down on the shell so the juices spill out 12) Sprinkle top
of tart with a generous amount
of sugar 13) Bake in oven at 200 deg cel for around 30 — 40 minutes or until tart shell is golden brown 14) Serve with a side
of vegetable salad (optional)
Mix well and then spoon the filling into the center
of each
onion.
The other trick that I do is to save a little bit
of the original
mix and add a little more lime juice and oil and toss the peppers and
onions with it to coat.
1 ball pizza dough (homemade or we recommend Publix or Trader Joe's) 1/4 cup bbq sauce (we recommend a
mix of a sweet BBQ sauce and this hot BBQ sauce) 1/2 cup cooked chicken, shredded 1/4 cup caramelized
onions 1 - 2 cups shredded cheese (depending on how cheesy you like it, we recommend a
mix of Mozzarella and cheddar)
In a saucepan, pour the
onion puree and add the rest
of sauce ingredients,
mix well.
