To finish I like to sprinkle over some home made dukkah which is essentially
a mix of sesame seeds and whatever spices and herbs I have in the cupboard.
As I'm not a coconut fan, I may swap that out with
a mix of sesame seeds and wheat germ.

The inspiration here comes from
sesame salt (gomashio), which is a Japanese condiment made up
of a
mix of toasted
sesame seeds and salt.
I love the
mix of sautéed garlic, tamari, chilli flakes and
sesame oil with little bites
of aubergine, sliced mushrooms and broccoli, tons
of noodles and a good sprinkling
of chives, toasted cashews and
sesame seeds.
In a big pan, add and

I actually encountered a similar recipe in an old Indian cookbook which had pecans, corn, and cinnamon in the

sesame flour instead
of almond flour)- this is my favourite recipe: Nut - Free Keto Buns Yes, you can definitely add
seeds - this recipe is similar and I added sunflower
seeds into the dough: Fluffy Grain - Free Sunflower Bread (you can simply add
seeds to the dry mixture or at the end
of the
mixing process).
Place the
mixed sesame seeds on a plate, then gently press the cut side
of each avo half into the
seeds to coat the surface evenly.
I buy a half pound each
of all
of the nuts and
seeds mentioned in the above article (adding
sesame seeds and chia
seeds) and
mix them together and store them in a large mason jar in the freezer.
