I didn't have enough Brazil
nuts to make a whole «cheese» portion, so
mixed it with cashews... i also had no nutritional yeast and (very uncharacteristically) ran
out of lemons - too many lemon and ginger waters!
Next prepare your sweet corn and pine

mixer on lowest speed, alternately add flour and buttermilk until just incorporated — don't overmix at this point for the tenderest cake / By hand gently stir in 2 — 3 cups
of rhubarb sauce so that it swirls through the batter / Place in a 9 - inch square or 10 - inch round pan coated with just a little butter and flour / Sprinkle evenly with chopped almonds (or, use local hazelnuts instead, or omit the
nuts) / Bake at 325º for about an hour, until skewer comes
out clean when tested / Macrina Bakery dusts the cake with powdered sugar and coarsely chopped almonds / Cake is tender until completely cooled so handle with care.
I used a
mix of nut flours that I had on hand — almond with hazelnut — and it turned
out great.
I like to throw a handful
of chocolate chips into the batter for extra-fudgy brownies, but you could add
nuts instead or leave
out the
mix - ins completely.

nut milk brands add stabilizers, sweeteners and natural flavors to their
mix, and by making your own, you are taking all that unwanted stuff
out of the equation.
The big container
of mixed nuts we buy is all
out of cashews long before we reached the halfway mark
of the container to the annoyance
of many.
After dinner I had two bowls
of nuts (I picked
out the cashews and almonds in the assorted
nut mix).
1/4 cup unflavoured whey protein 1/4 cup ground almonds (plus a bit extra, if you need to dry
out the
mix later) 1tbsp high protein
nuts n more white chocolate peanut butter 1tbsp coconut flour 1 - 2caps valencian orange oil (mine came from Asda) 1 - 2tbsp water (add a little at a time so that the
mix doesn't get too wet & sticky) 7 drops vanilla flavdrops zest
of half an orange 50g white chocolate 6 flaked almonds
Then I fill my Vita -
mix with 2C
of hot water, and the rinsed
nuts, and blend, & while blending, add 1 / 2t celtic sea salt, 1t non-alcohol vanilla, and 1t sunflower lecithin (can leave
out).
1) Pre-heat oven to 350 deg Fahrenheit (175 deg Cel) and line a metal baking pan or cast - iron pan 2) Blend the cashew
nuts in a food processor or a blender until it becomes like fine sand (if necessary, pass the blended cashews through a sieve — and re-process the parts that are not fine enough to pass through the sieve) 3) In a large bowl, whisk the ground cashew
nuts, tapioca flour, salt and baking powder together until combined 4) In another bowl,
mix the honey, vanilla extract and egg together until all ingredients are well incorporated 5) Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and
mix well until you get a homogeneous batter 6) Gently stir in 1 cup
of fresh blueberries until evenly distributed 7) Pour the batter into the baking pan or cast iron pan, and evenly distribute the rest
of the blueberries on top 8) Bake for around 30 minutes (or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes
out clean) 9) Let the scones cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing into 8 portions.
However, I did use Justin's almond butter and enjoyed the texture but added a tablespoon
of warm almond milk to help thin it
out and omitted the
nut meal (but
mixed in 1 - 2 tablespoons
of chopped almonds, instead).
Transfer the
nut mix to a plastic wrap lined baking sheet and smooth
out into one large «crust» using the flat edge
of a spatula.
Both flavors were so good, but the Dark Chocolate
Mixed Nuts & Sea Salt was
out of this world!
Amongst recipes like Peanut Cashew and Chai Spice
Nut Butter, the Almond Cocoa Butter stands
out as a
mix of Mission almonds and roasted cacao nibs, with a touch
of North Carolina wildflower honey, organic dark chocolate and sea salt.
I also use 2 1/2 cups confectioners» sugar & instead
of LB brown sugar, used 1 cup dark & one white.This saved me a trip back to the grocery store.I
mix very fine grated
nuts in the icing.I also made cupcakes & not one was left within 10 mins
of putting them

out of the oven and allow to cool completely — Store in an airtight cake tin and decorate as you please on the big day
