I added fresh rose petals to the
mix since I happened to have some on hand, but feel free to substitute for dried roses or a few more drops of essential
fragrance oil.
When
mixed with equal parts of water (and a few drops of essential
oil for
fragrance) ACV makes an excellent firming toner for the skin.
It can also help soothe chapped lips — make a balm by
mixing olive
oil and melted beeswax in a 1:1 ratio, and add an essential
oil for
fragrance.
Follow with the orange peel
fragrance oil, weighing out the amount needed then
mixing it into the body butter as well.
Mix thoroughly and add essential
oil or
fragrance oil when mixture has cooled slightly if desired.
Add more
oil and
fragrance and stir until well

fragrance oil, add it at light trace and keep
mixing until the soap batter is like a light pudding.
Rosewater is a favorite for me, so that's what I've
mixed up here, and I think it complements the light
fragrance of the coconut
oil nicely.
