As the sugar melts,

nut milk yogurt took my breakfast game to a whole new level (I
mix it up with my favorite golden milk powder).

MIX: I
make my own very simply by
mixing together my favourite
nuts and seeds — cashews, almonds, pecans, coconut flakes, and then adding some dried fruit in too: raisins, figs, and dates.
Some of our favorite weekday breakfasts are:

nut butter, overnight oatmeal, and yogurt with

made just the bread, adding a 1 / 2c of chocolate chips and

I am not too fond of just eating them by themselves but if you
make your own trail
mix and add other berries, seeds, and
nuts then these are more palatable.
1) Pre-heat oven to 300 deg Fahrenheit (150 deg cel) 2) Line one large baking sheet (0r two medium baking sheets) with parchment paper 3) In a large bowl, combine the oats, chia seeds, flax seeds, raisins, almonds and other
nuts, and
mix well 4) In a smaller bowl, whisk together the honey, light brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon until smooth and sugar has dissolved 5) Pour the honey mixture over the dry ingredients and stir well until you get a homogeneous mixture 6) Pour the mixture over the baking sheets and spread evenly with a spatula, then season lightly with sea salt 7) Bake for 15 minutes, then stir the granola gently (to
make sure all sides are cooked) 8) At this point, you may need to switch the baking sheets (if you are using 2) so the granola cooks evenly 9) Bake for another 15 minutes, then stir again, before cooking for a final 15 minutes or until golden brown 10) Remove granola from the oven and place on cooking racks until completely cool and crisp 11) Store granola in air - tight containers at room temperature.
Although I've never had the issue myself, (I would describe the batter as creamy), my best recommendation to avoid the release of oil is to
make sure that whatever
nut butter you are working with has been fully stirred for complete integration of oil and ground
nut (the oil naturally separates and if it is not completely
mixed it remains that way and I suspect may runoff more easily in this state).
Add the sugar and lemon zest and
mix again, then add the flour mixture,
nuts, and rosemary and
mix until the dough goes just past the crumbly stage, and begins to really clump together (you don't want to over
mix, but under
mixing will
make the dough seem a bit dry, which can
make it difficult to handle).
You can
make them with any flavor of
mix, use 2 eggs and 1/3 C oil, add chips,
nuts etc..
Husband loves them too because they
make a great substitute for beer
nuts / salted
mix.
I used about 2/3 of the raisins and
nuts and 2/3 of almond flour with 1/3 of a gluten free whole flour

made, with a few shakes of coconut sugar
