At no time did this powertrain ever feel clunky or out of sorts at low speeds, and the transmission's Sport
mode helped
dial up the fun factor a smidge.
In full luxury
mode it, feels like a proper sports sedan;

It's only when you

mode it's very lightly weighted, but has a very odd feel to it... it's off center and there's a lot of slop and response is slow, but then the system seems to catch
up once more angle is
dialed in and then abruptly turns.
Dial up Sport or even Sport Plus
mode (which is not 911-esque in its track - oriented severity) and everything becomes deliciously sharp and attentive.
It settles over smooth - edged ruts and undulations, but it never feels as serene as you might hope, and of course the ride only gets more unforgiving the more
dialled -
up your choice of damper
mode.
I'll admit, the ride can prove a bit too harsh in Dynamic
mode, almost causing me to spill my beloved Diet Dr. Pepper on one morning commute, but the Drive Select's Individual
mode allows me to set suspension to comfort while keeping the other parameters
dialed up to their sportiest settings.
If you need extra performance,
dial up sport
mode, which tightens
up the suspension, and it sticks surprisingly well around a corner for such a big car.
Scrolling the drive
mode rotary
dial from «Eco» to «Sport» sharpens the throttle response and wakes

mode everyday — they're simply too sharp at runabout speeds.
