In case you do find the
puzzles to be intellectually challenging, though, there's an easy
mode which removes roughly half of them, and thus basically guts the entire
game.
In a way it's an odd design choice because this is a
game firmly aimed at an already established audience who will have likely worked their way through a myriad of obtuse
puzzles before and thus probably would never even consider sticking easy
mode on.

game in around two to five hours depending upon how quickly you grasp the
puzzles and control scheme.

Graphically, there would be a natural assumption that a jigsaw
puzzle game would be aesthetically simplistic, but this is most certainly not the case as there are picturesque vistas galore that already look beautiful on PS4, while PS4 Pro support produces stunning native 4K visuals which can be fully admired
in showcase
mode.
Now, normally I prefer to play Switch
games in handheld
mode, for clearer graphics and better controls, however since this
game has little gameplay really, other than walking around and solving
puzzles, I found the pro controller more than adequate.
Outside of that and a gallery
mode to view completed
puzzles in their full glory, there really isn't much here besides the ten
puzzles of varying sizes, and the
game gives you what it says
in the title.
Having played the basic, 60 - piece
puzzles in all three control schemes, (Macbook touchpad, Pro Controller, and Switch touchscreen) I can easily say the Switch handheld
mode is the best way to play the
game, since you can easily touch and drag the tile you want
in no time at all, which single - handedly cuts the time that it will take to clear
puzzles by a significant amount.

game by yourself due to the way the
puzzles are structured
in the co-op
mode — you'll always need two players.
There are three single - player

In short, the multiplayer
modes are not something I'd buy the
game for, but they are a pleasant surprise considering that we're taking about a
puzzle game here.
There are 4 gameplay
modes; Elf the tiny dog is back to help you get into tight places; there's a new «Gift of Sight» element and I agree with other reviewers that it's a bit clunky but it does provide some answers
in a «this is what really happened» way; hidden objects are presented
in a variety of ways;
puzzles and mini
games are pretty good even though it might take a minute to figure out what you're supposed to do.
With help of Khufu - the Magical Monkey from the Underground Oasis, solve over 500 challenging
puzzles spread across 7 different
modes of gameplay and restore mysterious powers of ancient Egypt
in this rich and original matching
game.
The
game does have a few different
modes outside of its Campaign and usual death match
modes, and while the real meat of the gameplay exists
in its deathmatches, playing things like
Puzzle Mode can offer a nice change of pace — giving you scenarios with limited resources or special conditions that you have to meet by using the tools at your disposal efficiently.
This
game is a unique as far as
puzzles go, a lot of I haven't come across before, and I enjoyed them very much... some took me quite a while to solve The
game opened
in widescreen... a definite plus, hate having to change things There are 3
modes of play: Easy - Expert - Pro... Expert players will love this
game as there is no hand holding at all... no sparkles, no hints and no skips I played the Easy
mode where hints charged
in about 15 seconds and not much longer for skips I quite like the HOS as well... lists, silhouettes and find one thing to open or find another object but done differently than the norm There are no voice overs, which I didn't mind for a change, not an overly lot of dialogue to read either Graphics were good without being spectacular.
