modes and online battle
modes.
For those worried about the experience
being tainted while playing in portable
mode, I personally found playing in handheld
mode much
easier on the
eyes and smoother all round — and no less scary!
If you
are reading at night, you can switch it to that specific
mode which gives you a black background and white text to make it
easier on the
eyes.
There
is also an additional night
mode that turns the screen orange to help make it
easier on the
eyes when used in the dark.
And Mary Lou Jepsen's Pixel Qi company
is working
on a new LCD screen that — like the OLPC XO screen she
was instrumental in devising — will run
