in our cultural setting.
No accredited theological
school in North America escapes the probably unresolvable tension created within its common life by trying to assimilate itself simultaneously to both

in the sense of the realm of political, social, and economic power, its arrangement and its management.
Finally, theological
schooling in this
model is,
in a qualified way, public
schooling.
