Model Year Production of the all - new 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertible began in March 2007 at the Sterling Heights (Mich.) Assembly Plant.
That might be indicative that the 2019 ZR1 will not immediately start production with the other models when 2019
model year production begins the week of January 29th.
Now we've learned that Chevrolet is planning on ending 2018 Corvette production early and will start 2019
Corvette model year production on January 29, 2018.
Through April 22nd, Chevrolet has built a total of 23,171 Corvette Stingrays and 8,206 Corvette Z06s for a total 2015
Model Year production of 31,377.
Production of the 2011 model year trucks has been discontinued and replaced by 2012
model year production.
We expect that to take place when 2017
model year production begins, likely in the August / September 2016 timeframe.
The safety innovation for the year was ABS (Antilock Braking System) which was introduced during
the model year production.
Meanwhile, Stealth Blue and Ignition Orange are unavailable for 2009 (Stealth Blue having already been eliminated during 2008
model year production).
Cadillac plans to include the system in XTS and ATS sedans with the start of 2018
model year production.
