The University of Tsukuba team has advanced this field of study by establishing a novel approach to computational
modeling of air flow alongside wind tunnel experiments.

Modelling the
flow of air within the atmospheres

The UM Rosenstiel School researchers used historical observations
of cloud cover as a proxy for wind velocity in climate
models to analyze the Walker circulation, the atmospheric
air flow and heat distribution in the tropic Pacific region that affects patterns
of tropical rainfall.

of moisture through the atmosphere.
Engineers often use large wind tunnels to analyze the
flow of air around scale
models of objects, such as cars and airplanes.
It gives engineers and scientists the greatest control over the
flow of air, and produces the most efficient and precise results when
models are tested.
While the SE
model does have front individual passenger controls, the
air flow to the back
of the cabin is limited.
