by UN Secretary - General Ban Ki - moon, SE4All has three main objectives
by 2030: to ensure universal access to
modern energy services, to double the global rate of improvement in
energy efficiency, and to double the share of renewable
energy in the global
energy mix.
By reducing the amount of
energy required to provide
modern energy services,
energy efficiency is an important — and in some cases necessary — driver of
energy access.
