Making sure our community of
moms feels supported and heard is a big part of who we are.
Turns out, many cultures have come up with ways to ensure that new
moms feel supported, loved and able to overcome any problems they have while learning to breast - feed.

No matter how ticked you get, stick with the basics: encouragement (your going to be a good
mom), solidarity (we are in this together), and
support (how are you
feeling?
And so long as a
mom receives the right information and
support, I would not
feel «anger» towards any
mom who decides to give up rather than continue pursuing heroic measures in order to provide a 25 % supply of her child's nutritional needs.

feeling pretty crappy about it, when all she was hoping for was some
support (or maybe wasn't asking you for anything at all.

If a
mom feels the need to look outside herself for her to be able to breastfeed successfully, perhaps we're missing something in
supporting that
mom.

support.
