In comparison, Google has never made much
money out of it hardware businesses and all things considered, Google's hardware units have often lost money.

The Nvidia Project Shield, could be the best handheld gaming system released this year, and might edge
out even the Sony PS Vita, at least if Nvidia is serious about making a lot
of money with it, and it doesn't want to just create reference
hardware.
Music conglomerates went
out of business when music moved online, and no one seemed to realize (or care) that Apple wasn't making their
money selling music — they were making their
money selling the
hardware that played the music.
Amazon did an impressive job
of putting
out dirt cheap
hardware with the hope
of making
money on the resulting media sales and sales tracking indicates that they have been successful.
Nintendo is just too stupid no one likes Nintendo
hardware but everyone loves Nintendo software, they are missing
out on boatloads
of money from being a software only company.
Sega published games such as Asterix, Land
of Illusion and Sonic Chaos all within the early to mid 90s and showed that even with the outdated
hardware, they were still able to push
out quality titles that were well worth the
money.
For anyone
out there who's spent a decent amount
of money on audio speakers, there's a chance that the
hardware inside the Chromecast Audio won't be
of high - enough quality for such a purchase to make sense.
There's nothing to make the 5X really stand
out in a crowd, and for a budget phone that's not too surprising — you want
money spent on materials and build, not necessarily design gimmicks or cutting - edge
