It really baffles me sometimes how fans like you portray Wenger and at the end I feel the day ya'all forget that Wenger is an employee of Arsenal and he's now bigger than the club, yes he's a legend and he deserves a statue but at the same time that is Arsenal's downfall because Wenger has too much control
over the club and he shouldn't be allowed to make some decisions on like players to buy or the amount of
money to spend, he has to just focus on
football and only
football alone.

over the past 12 plus years is the willingness of the Board to accept 4th place as the goal and objective each year because it meant CL

You said it yourself — «sales pitch» — they shouldn't be making a sales pitch to him, it is illegal, tapping up, which Liverpool have been heavily involved in, plus he has the same agent as Sterling, who seems very dodgy — the FA should be
over this guy like a rash, but the dear FA seem very reluctant to tackle anyone with
money, as you can see by all the dodgy people they allow to be owners of
football clubs.

money taking priority
over the making of
football success for the fans at the Arsenal in recent times with the introduction of preseason tours to far flung parts of the world to promote the brand, with no acknowledgement of the need for proper squad preparation for the coming season.
I hope I'm wrong but this could be the most damaging win when it comes to transfers... winning 1 game, after about 20 minutes of really good play, is of little consequence in the grand scheme of things... only those with the most selfish of intentions would suggest otherwise... the only reason we're even in this predicament, where were celebrating our first victory of 2018 against a bottom half squad who is managed by possibly the only individual more antiquated than our manager, is because of Wenger's ridiculous mishandling of his contract last year combined with his mishandling of the contracts of our top players this year; a fact that he himself admitted to... so before you get too excited about the possibilities of our current roster don't forget what has happened
over the last several years and pray to the gods of
football that real quality reinforcements like Auba are on the way, which could have happened years ago for less
money and we might have been holding a trophy of some significance, or this brief respite will be followed by the usual mediocrity and stagnation
I mean Christ Danny Welbeck was let go for just slightly less than lucas Perez and Wenger wasn't even in the country when he was bought in, what does that tell you about the club and its ambitions????? if you added up the

over the last ten years, we could have brought in half the Barcelona side including Messi so you tell me what THATS all about??? its a disgrace, and Giroud acting like a
football god because he scored and equalizer really just epitomises the whole messed up attitude and THAT starts with Wenger and his «its not my fault it was the ref» attitude its stinks
I had followed Arsenal long enough that we have pretty strict wage structure (the belief of
football as a team sport and squad harmony is important) and we never pay
over the odd for player or greedy agent — which in turn can help us to get the best value for our
money All in all, whether it is a smart move, we should patiently wait until end of the transfer window.
I can only hope that this attempt is taken more seriously than the largely muted and clearly unsuccessful protests of late last season... although the plane writing escapade brought some much - needed attention to the matter, it failed to resonate with fence - sitters and those who had just recently fell off the Wenger truck... without a big enough showing of support the whole endeavor appeared relatively weak and poorly organized, especially to the major media outlets, whose involvement could have significantly changed what was to follow... but I get it, few wanted to turn on their club, let alone make a public display of their discord... problem is, they are preying on that vulnerability, in fact, their counting on you to keep your thoughts to yourself... who are you to tell these fat cats how to steal your
money... they have worked long and hard to pull the wool
over your eyes... they even went so far as to pay enormous sums of cash to your once beloved professor to be their corporate spokesmodel so that the whole thing would be more palatable... eventually the club made it appear as if this was simply a relatively small fringe group of highly radicalized supporters, which allowed the pro-Wenger element inside the club hierarchy to claim victory following the FA Cup win... unfortunately what has happened to this club can't be solved by FA Cups or a few players coming in, the very culture of this club needs to be changed and that starts at the top... in order to change the unhealthy and dysfunctional narrative that has absorbed this club we need to remove everyone who presently occupies a position of power... only then can we get back to the business of playing championship caliber
football, which should always be the number one priority of this organization... on an important side note, one of the most devastating mistakes made in the final days of this hectic and poorly planned transfer window didn't have to do with the big name players like Sanchez or Lemar, but the fact that they failed to secure Jadon Sancho, who might even start for Dortmund this season... I think they might seriously regret this oversight... instead of spending so much time, energy and manpower pretending that they were desperately trying to make big moves, they once again lost the plot due to their all too familiar tunnel vision
this is what you get for the previous share holders selling to Kronke and no other, the departure of david dein, the retaining of wenger, tolerating sub standard management and on field performances, retaining deadwood
