Ranging from text to installation, painting, sculpture, performance and sound, the selection presents some of Lisson's leading artists, of both the past and present — beginning with
monumental works such as one of Dan Graham's large - scale glass - and - steel pavilions, entitled Two Vs Entrance - Way (2016), which reflects and refracts visitors and its Brutalist
architectural surroundings.

monumental work by Jenny Holzer «Protect Me From What I Want» (1983 - 85); performances and costumes, including the «Big Suit» worn by David Byrne for the documentary «Stop Making Sense» of 1984; extracts from films such as» The Last of England» by Derek Jarman (1987); music videos of Laurie Anderson, Grace Jones and New Order; and also surprising objects such as the dinner services designed by architects like Zaha Hadid, Frank O. Gehry and Arata Isozaki.
Her
work references both the transformative effects of photography as well as the sculptural relationship of objects to the body, alternating between an association with objects that are intimate, wearable or ornamental and an idea of scale that verges on the
architectural or
monumental.
These two
works, with nearly 50 years in between them, are
monumental architectural structures in which Van Snick expresses his interest in systematic methodologies and a minimalist visual language.
These
works are joined by five new
monumental sculptures of the body (as interpreted through interlocking steel beams) and two new Blockworks that translate the body into a network of rectangles to construct seemingly
