I am a fan of bean
chili — I pick up dried beans at Sprouts off — but didn't even think
about any
more reasoning behind that either other than that being easier on my wallet!
After the first time I made it, I wished it had a bit
more spice so I have added 1/2 fresh jalapeno pepper (with the bell peppers) and
about 1 extra tbsp of
chili powder to give it a bit
more heat and it is perfect.
