Avocado Kiwi
Smoothie 1 avocado 2 - 3 ripe, sweet kiwis
about 4 cups packed leafy
greens (hard stems removed if using kale and such) 1 - 2 tablespoons vanilla pea or other vegetable protein
about 2 cups almond milk or
more, to the consistency that you prefer a few ice cubes
I am
more of a veggie omelet type of breakfast gal, but one bite, and these pancakes make me forget
about green smoothies and veggie scrambles.
That's why I'm all
about health hacks that make me feel great in my body from the inside out — like adding healthy fats to my coffee to taking in my caffeine and breakfast all in one (

greens powder to some water, nut milk, or tossed in a
smoothie with ice to get a megadose of nutritious

more about the
greens: I'll preface this with letting you know that I am NOT a
greens person, or even a
smoothie person, really.
But all the
green smoothies and cross-fit in the world won't make us like ourselves any
more, or compensate for painful feelings that we need to express, or make what feels wrong
about our lives really go away.
Here's what lots and lots of regular
green smoothie drinkers have told me
about what the habit has done for their health, their families, their appearance, and so much
