Best Friends is accountable to our supporters for how we spend the funding entrusted to us to achieve the mission of bringing

animals whose lives literally depend on this work, hence our obsession with metrics.

about animals accomplish little
more than annoying your friends and followers while dulling them to the message of what they could really be doing to help
homeless pets.
As hosts, we aim to raise awareness
about the thousands of
homeless animals in our community and feature
more than 300 of these perfectly adoptable pets to the public.

about the responsibilities of dog ownership, many
more of these wonderful, adoptable pets would needlessly be put to death each year.

about becoming a foster volunteer, and help us tackle the problem of
homeless animals until there are no
more unwanted dogs.
Therefore, while campers will have daily opportunities to learn

animals), they should not expect to spend significant amounts of time working with or handling
homeless pets waiting for adoption.
More than 70 young professionals were in attendance to help raise awareness
about homeless animals and adoption.
