about anything to keep people obedient and unquestioning, so they will continue to give, and so the big donors will continue to give, so that the doors at Monster Megachurch can be kept open, and the lights on... David, this is one of your «less is
more» toons here... a minimum of elements that says so much....

What you should know

Whether children are
bullied or not, they absorb a huge amount of artificial information
about their peers in school, which may actually cause
more harm than good in adult life.
One reason we're so concerned
about these issues is that children who have major delays tend to be
more likely targets for
bullying and cyberbullying.
The difference is, when they aren't happy
about something, be it
bullying, the failing system, the lack of support or any other reason that affects their child — they are willing to do
more than just complain.

When kids take the time to stop and think
about how something might make another person feel, they are
more likely to take a stand or get help for someone who is being

When researchers questioned 231 young adolescents
about their cultural values and experiences with peers, they found that kids from authoritarian homes were

PS — I totally get what Madge is saying but I would worry that any kind of consequential language in this realm could backfire — it really feels like a lack of control / power thing to me (which is I guess sometimes the root of
bullying behavior) but consequences could make him feel both
more powerful (he gets
more attention from his request) AND
more ashamed (
about peeing etc.) I would re-inforce two things: 1) his own control / power over his own body (that means being totally ok with having an accident) AND 2) another person's right to privacy (he has no right to talk to another person
about their own bathroom behavior)
Kids worry
about all kinds of things, such as starting school;
bullying; making friends; difficult familial relationships; and so much
more.
Unfortunately, it can be a lot
more unpleasant for your preschooler to experience peer pressure and maybe even
bullying about still using a bottle at bedtime than it would be for your baby to be weaned successfully.
Once you realize that a low sense of self - worth — stemming from not truly feeling valued by and connected to the parent — is at the root of the
