more almond milk since the consistency was pretty thick (prob because of the missing egg).

almond, rice, or other
milk you may need less
milk or
more oats to get the texture you want
since coconut
milk tends to be pretty thick and we like it that way rather than runny
I added coconut flakes, used coconut flour, added maple syrup (thinking maybe it would thicken the batter) and a little
more almond milk, and
since after I had gone to the store to get the ingredients I realized that I did not have coconut oil, so I used olive oil instead (probably the major problem here).
Also, I used
almond milk instead of water and wound up adding
more milk since my veggies were drier.
Once you try making
almond milk at home, it will be hard to go back to the store - bought kind,
since it's infinitely
more delicious and affordable.

Since the flax seeds absorb so much liquid I had to add
more almond / coconut
milk as the batter sat.
It may contain
more sugar than you need and
almond milk may be a better choice
since it is low in fat, sugar, and calories.
Since I commented I did some
more research on coconut water and liked what I saw, so I've modified my go - to green smoothie recipe and now use 1/2 cup coconut water and 1 cup unsweetened
almond milk as the base I'm learning so much from your blog!
