While my world seems to revolve more and
more around meals that I can throw together quickly on a busy weeknight, I do still have this desire to cook like my Grandma, or The Husband's Mamaw, and Grandmama.

Some might suggest a lifestyle that revolves
around skipping
meals is short - term and shortsighted, but as the evidence shows, it is not only
more convenient, but healthier and
more effective as well.

When you eat a particularly delicious homemade
meal, you are supposed to say that you are «blessed» to have
more than enough food to eat, especially when so many

I aim for soup at least three times a day at
meals, which means we're all getting
around a cup of stock in, as well as a cup of plain stock before and between
meals for 3 - 4
more cups a day.
Start basing
more meals around plant foods, veggies, fruit, nuts and seeds and you'll find your need for the grains (gluten free or not), will start to decrease.
