The Florida Highway Patrol is reminding owners of pickup trucks of the requirement to have both front and rear
bumbers mounted within certain height levels.The maximum allowable height between the pavement and bottom of the front and rear bumper are: — Trucks less than 2,000 pounds — 24 inches in the front and 26 inches in the rear — Trucks
more than 2,000 pounds but less than 3,000 — 27 inches in the front and 29 inches in the rear — Trucks
more than 3,000 pounds but not
more than 5,000 pounds — 28 inches in the front and 30 inches in the rear.
