When it came time to make the sauce, I added a
bit more cider, doubled the mustard and finished it with a pat of butter.
Then on other batches,
add more cider and see how the dough holds again.
Taste the soup and see if it
needs more cider, salt and pepper or perhaps some chilli powder or additional thyme.
Didn't stop me from cleaning that pan and runnning to the store
for more cider.
Remove the barbecue sauce from the heat and taste for seasoning, adding salt to taste and
more cider vinegar, hot sauce, and / or brown sugar as necessary; the sauce should be highly seasoned.
Treasury wants to
convert more cider drinkers in the 20 - plus age group to be consumers of lighter, crisp styles in the rosé and moscato segments.
(Add
more cider if it's too thick or more powdered sugar if it's too thin.)
Simmer for a couple of hours, adding
more cider as it evaporates.
