I feel he needs
to do this
to restore our faith in him so that in years
to come we don't panic if we see little or no activity in the transfer window, because with everybody around us significantly improving their squad, Wenger has been quoted talking about the cohesion of the squad is
more important than having one absolutely amazing player who wins everything for the
club.

Its seems
to me that both the
club and it's fans are not serious.Anytime Arsenal sign a youngster from another team who is dubbed the next whatever people
come out and say Arsenal have just signed a youngster who may or may not make it and that Arsene should sign ready made. They say it
to seem as if it's a bad thing. Now that Chris Willock is leaving I'm anticipating that a lot of people are soon going
to be blaming the same Wenger who actually likes bringing in youngsters.Anyway you have
to look at the reasons he lfet. It's for game time and
to him he thinks its a good choice. The bright side is that he's not Arsenal's most talented player. The likes of Donyell Malen, Yassin Fortune, Reiss Nelson in my eyes have
more potential as wingers.I also think Arsenal should be very excited about Eddie Nketiah and Stephy Mavididi. They can be world class strikers in the future particularly Eddie.
this
club, under his tutelage, has ruffled a lot of feathers over the years and now it's
coming home
to roost... his arrogance has rubbed many the wrong way, but winning provided the perfect tonic
to cure all ills... whether largely self - created or a byproduct of all the media attention, Wenger seemed
to embrace his cult - like status, which would eventually be his downfall... he claimed that his
club was different...
more of an extended family than a footballing
club and only those with what he deemed as «special» qualities could even hope
to join such an exclusive
club... these «qualities» were hailed by most, especially as the wins kept rolling in... but with exclusivity
comes a certain amount of cockiness, which can be somewhat healthy in a highly competitive environment if it
comes from a honest place... it wouldn't take long for the fans
to embrace their bespectacled former economics professor, going so far as
to suggest he could do no wrong... but this fairy tale couldn't last forever
whether for the right or wrong reasons, our leader chose
to stay on when things took a turn of sorts... a new owner arrived on the scene, plans for a new stadium emerged and Wenger became the bearer of bad news... he sold us on a new story, one that required patience on our parts... financial constraints were the order of the day, so that the enormous sums spent on the new venue could be recouped... although some would question the validity of such claims, why wouldn't they believe their faithful leader... according
to those within the hierarchy, the future never looked so bright, as this new home would ensure our place among the elites for years
to come... as we all know now these claims were a well constructed fabrication and so those who feel they were duped in the process are infuriated and rightly so... the fact that this
club and it's manager have continually misled the fans, especially following Gazidis's claims about our financial liquidity, simply rubbed
more salt in an already gaping wound... this surely isn't how you treat your «family», especially when they supported you through the supposed «lean» years... it was a dirty trick played by Kroenke but the fact is was orchestrated by Wenger himself hurt the most... as for those in the media, many of whom are former players or longtime pundits, who observed the early years firsthand, saw this as the perfect opportunity
to vent the anger they felt towards this pretentious man once and for all... all in all, karma's a bitch
Fair enough we will not win trophy's this year but world class players are

this kid had it all and could have been truly great but guess what, you can take the kid out of the hood but you can't always take the hood out of the kid, sterling hangs around with a bunch of idiots who think posting their mate online doing laughing gas is clever and there all living in London, bringing him in would be a huge mistake in my opinion and those of you suggesting

Rumours and
more rumours, agents constantly use arsenal name

o.t does anybody on here honestly think we might try and make a move for klopp this summer are the board that aggressive enough
to make the decision also wenger has not
come out straight away
to denied that klopp is
coming to arsenal he just batted the question away in the press conference yesterday this makes me wonder if wenger is going
to sit down with the board and have a chat
to see what is the best way forward for the
club (maybe moving upstairs
to the boardroom so he doesn't have
to break his contract) i am sure if certain members of the board saw this as a prime opportunity
to move the
club forward post wenger we will see what will happen this might be the only chance
to get him as we might not be any decent manager around when wenger does retire we would probably end up with martinez instead realistically who do you think we would end up with in 2 yrs time options will be
more limited me thinks and we wil have missed the boat better make it count this time coyg
The only way I'd take Raheem Sterling is if Theo left, although I think I'd rather get Theo signed up with us, he's been with us nearly a decade, there isn't many players in the premier league who have been with their

more to come from Theo.

And, by the by, they are finding that the sense of entitlement that Premier League

Of course it would be silly
to suggest that winning any game, cup or otherwise, isn't good for the
club, but let's remember just how problematic FA Cup success has been for this
club... I'm certainly not going
to suggest I didn't enjoy seeing Arsenal win, I'm a fan of this
club first and foremost, but how bad are things when you find yourself secretly wishing that your own team lost so that just maybe real change would finally
come... I resent this team for even making me feel such thoughts and it's going
to take a lot of effort on their part
to earn my trust again... this
club has treated the fans so poorly that it has created an incredibly fragile and toxic environment, so much so that a «what have you done for me lately» mentality has emerged... fans rise and fall depending on the results of each game because we don't have faith in those in charge
to make the necessary changes
to personnel and tactics... each time we win many fans attack any dissenting voices and make unrealistic claims about the players, the manager and the potential for unprecedented success... every time we lose the boo - birds run rampant, calling for heads
to roll and predicting the worst... regardless of what side you fall on, it's not your fault, both sides are simply overcompensating for the horrible state of affairs that have been percolating for several years... it's hard
to take the long view when those in charge have lied incessantly and refuse
to take any responsibilities for their own actions... in the end, we are trapped by the same catch - 22 that ManU faced upon Fergie's exit... less fearful of maintaining the status quo than facing the unknown, which was validated, wrongly or rightly, by witnessing the difficulties they have faced during this transitory period...
to be honest, the thing that scares me most is that this team has never prepared whatsoever for this eventuality, which considering our frugal nature and the way we have shunned many of our most revered former players is
more than a little disconcerting

i think we need
to finish in the top 3.2 nd or 3rd doesn't matter
to me because they are both automatic qualification spots.2 nd place means slightly
more money and it may give the
club more confidence, but it is the the 1st of the losers in reality.I think if we
come 2nd which we probably will it may well hurt us, i know it sounds strange but i think Wenger will take 2nd place as a vindication an refuse
to buy any1 as usual.

Now that we can see light at the end of the tunnel, I am calling all Arsenal fans
to change tact while criticizing our coveted
club, manager and players by substituting «satanic words» of «F» and «S» characters into words that can add value into the
club's vein and steel, write
more articles that can encourage Arsenal players rather than kill their morale, unite and dissolve abuses
coming from rival
club fans and
club enemies like Jose Mourinho.
nice
to see you crawl out of your hole just in time
to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team long before Wenger arrived on the scene and will continue
to do so long after he's gone... in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought
to the EPL, which at that point was
more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts of Arsene, Dein & staff
to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid
to bring strong personalities and / or world - class players into the fold without being fearful of how said players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all changed about 10 years ago and culminated in the removal of all our greatest players, both young and old, without any real replacements
coming in... from Henry
to RVP
to Fabergas and Nasri, it was easy
to see that this
club was no longer interested in competing at the highest levels... instead of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium, Wenger chose
to side with management and in doing so became the «front man» for this corporation pretending
to be a world - class soccer
club... without the «front man» this organization would have been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence was imperative if the facade was
to continue... it's for this reason and
more that I despise what this once great man and Kroenke has done
to my beloved
club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is why I felt it necessary
to start offering my opinion in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but as long as the same shit continues
to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team
to pretend
to follow
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for
more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems
to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player
to handle the taxing duties that
come with said position over the long haul, not
to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed
to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough
to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed
to say his name on
club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford
to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills
to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been
more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related
to the failure of this
club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
But if he is making it clear that this time next year he wants
to stay in England but North London is not his destination, wouldn't that be
more painful then selling him now
to a
club where he can't
come back
to haunt us?
Well if we failed we won't have won a trophy last season (FA cup would be used
to blood youngsters), we won't have players like Alexis and Ozil
come into the
club, and we definitely would not be able
to keep players like Cazorla, Walcott and Ramsey because we would probably be playing Europa league (or even not been in Europe) and still have probably 5
more years
to go in paying of the stadium because we are not getting enough money into the
club (no Champions league).
Totally see where your
coming from Jon.I believe he has become frustrated at Dortmund as they have not progressed as a
club over the past 4 - 5 years and he has previously touted himself for a move
to Madrid that never materialised. This is his chance
to play for the biggest
club he is now ever likely
to play for so you would trust he recognises this and proves he is the talent his build up portrays. The EPL is a much tougher and
more competitive league than he has ever played in before so he has a lot
to prove both
to us and
to himself. He appears a confident player so let's hope the hype is worth it
To add to that, he did not come to a WestHam or a Birmingham, he is at the Arsenal for crying out loud... when he came to this club, Arsenal had won 10 league titles, Man U had also won 10 titles... Arsene wins 3 more while Ferguson sweeps 10 mor
