Not sure... I think I would simply leave it out and maybe add a tiny little bit of honey, or use a little bit
more date paste... the texture will be a tad different but it will still be very good, I'm sure of that.

I added a half cup
more date paste than usual with my cookies, because I wanted to make sure they were still soft, and to balance out the sight bitterness of the dark cocoa powder.
Sooo good (for being paleo) but I think next time I will try to play around and either add
more date paste to the brownie itself to make it sweeter OR double the icing THANK YOU for sharing!

more shriveled, I have decided to pay way
more attention during my next purchase, and use these for something other than
date paste!
Almond flour gives a great soft texture to the cake, and
date paste adds even
