Remember that the current C7 Corvette Z06 generated
more downforce in GM's wind tunnels than have ever been recorded by any production car.

The aerodynamic package, meanwhile, has been tweaked to deliver 20 per cent
more downforce than before with no increase
in drag.
It has the straight line performance to live with that company —
in fact Rimac has released a video of the Concept One out - dragging a LaFerrari — but it's unlikely to match those
more conventional hypercars for lap time because it lacks
downforce and outright mechanical grip.
Careful upgrades help make this GT3
more drivable: 197 cc of extra displacement boosts low - end torque, stability control aids
in keeping the GT3 aimed
in the proper direction, and revised aerodynamics create real
downforce to help keep the shiny side up.
By adding a spoiler
in the shape of the kicked - up boot - lid along with a diffuser underneath, they've also found a third
more downforce.
In total, the R's aero package generates 155 kg
more downforce at maximum speed than the regular AMG GT.
They're going to move around a lot
more because they have less
downforce, but they also move
in a better attitude.
