more electricity etc, it starts warming up almost immediately.

Better electrical engineers create
more efficient power lines or light bulbs or heating elements
etc, which reduce energy consumption across the board, which takes unnecessary
electricity money and diverts it into
more pure research, which gives bio and biotech
more money to work with, which produces
more bio and biotech work.
There will be
more large earthquakes, higher storm surges,
more tsunamis,
more flooding,
more storms which cut
electricity etc etc..
But
more likely the fact that anti-GHG emissions policies led to huge increase in
electricity prices, belief that rain would cease led to costly but unused desal plants,
etc, we are bearing high costs for no benefit.
The whole point of the FIT program, IMHO, was to make
electricity production in Ontario
more accessible to communities, homeowners, schools, farmers,
etc... by creating a standard, long - term contract and process for selling green
electricity into the provincial grid.
There are no quick fixes to these problems beyond the obvious low hanging fruit (walk
more, cycle
more, find ways to use
electricity less
etc).
Your carbon use for one event isn't being spread out over the year but
more like 20 or 50 years on the promise of a tree being planted and never cut for 50 years
etc... buying pure clean
electricity is one very cheap easy way to do it however... opt in with your power company.
