I don't think it's possible to imagine
a more evil character than one who could do away with the eternal suffering of hell yet allows it to continue.
All four movies start off as if they intend to be just as scary as the novel but then wind up simplifying the issues, either by letting a doomed sympathetic character survive (as in Cruel Intentions) or by sentimentalizing the motives or the fates of
the more evil characters (as in the other three movies).
Not exact matches
For instance, a
character may change from good to
evil (or the reverse), become disillusioned, survive a series of tests, or prove to be
more admirable in a crisis than anyone could have believed.
That was a very interesting read many comments caught my attention I've recently been diagnosed with Bipolar I have hallucinations and hear voices in my ear's when I hallucinate it's likes they are trying to get me thousands of them I can only describe them as dark shadows and they are trying to get me just as they are about to get me a brilliant white light surrounds me and there's three entities humanly shaped but like this brilliant white light they are also glowing this brilliant whiteness I can't understand what they are saying the only way I can explain it is emotions comfort joy love is what I feel emanating from these entities the voices I hear aren't
evil telling me to do bad things to people when I get put into a mode of fear I live in a rough area of Scotland and everytime I've got into a fight something possesses me I know this for a fact as I can't control myself I'm an observer watching my family / Friends say I change they say my eyes change and I look
evil I personally do think possibly through my own personal experience I» am possessed as I act out of
character I've lost interest in many things I've recently I decided it's time for change I've lost my faith I've been trying to connect with God and feel his love which I used to feel the presence of the holy spirit everytime I try connect I get a feeling of abandonment I just think if I am possessed could these entities stop me connecting with «God» I can say from my heart of hearts «JESUS CHRIST HAS COME IN THE FLESH» I think it's
more to do with the persons own personal fears which I have noticed my fears have changed if I had to be truthfully with myself I fear God which I know I'm not supposed to just I can't explain it I guess if you ever need a test subject I'm up for the challenge like I said I'm on journey to find myself and my travels have brought me hear I'm going to hang around for a wee while there's lots of good information to be plundered loll
All of us are in process of change and the extent of our submission to God determines the
character of the person, especially those with
more of a bend toward
evil in our
character.
Much
more entertaining, and the villains are nowhere near as
evil as the chief
character in the Babble.
In fact, although John Hick does appear to believe that some types of
evil are allowed to develop moral and spiritual
character, most FWTs have not even explicitly stated they agree with this
more minimal claim.
For, if there is no God, then one faces the problem of goodness, beauty, truth, all that is lovely in music and art, all that is admirable in
character, and that problem of good seems to me far
more important and
more difficult to solve than the problem of
evil.

The tactical RPG is a massive culmination of
characters from multiple series, including
more than 50
characters from the Resident
Evil, Darkstalkers, Sakura Wars, Tales of Vesperia, and Tekken franchises.
Michael Shannon is the villain who balances wonderfully a
character that is equal parts
evil king reigning over his kingdom with an iron fist and a man stuck in the past of no acceptance when it comes to that which is nothing
more than different.
Cage's
character is essentially a superhero who is unwittingly conscripted to help prevent the overthrow of the Devil by his even
more evil son Blackheart.
The
character of Erik Killmonger suffers the worst of this tendency, his complex backstory and revolutionary politics (which in some ways make him
more worthy of the title of this movie than T'Challa) twisted and reduced by the film to a caricaturish
evil.
But just like every other cinematic villain to get the revisionist treatment (from Dracula to the
Evil Queen), Maleficent is stripped of everything that made her such a great
character in the process, and perhaps even
more troubling, as the victim of a creepy drug rape that's never addressed.
From the author's point of view, the most interesting
characters to write are always the dark ones, so my favourites in purely creative terms are probably Mathilda Gillespie from «The Scold's Bridle», whose twisted voice comes through her diaries, and Fox in «Fox
Evil» whose even
more twisted voice comes through his complex love / hate / abusive relationship with 10 - year - old Wolfie.
Arthur Henry Sarsfield Ward (writing under the much
more sexy name of Sax Rohmer) created the
character of the
evil Dr. Fu - Manchu.
I also think the
character is
more complex than being «simply
evil.»
