Graphics are a kind of hand drawn artwork which gives it a cartoon like style and works fine, the characters could do with a little
more frames of animation though.

This game is bit
of a slower,
more tactical affair when compared to Street Fighter IV, and this demands an
animation system that moves flawlessly between
frames.
Close - up character moments (including the climax
of our download video) all appear to be rendered off - line, meaning that the
more challenging
animation systems don't need to operate in real - time, while higher quality models can be brought to bear with no impact on
frame - rate.
The decision to do this is intentional,
of course; unlike excuses
of a «Cinematic Experience», Guilty Gear's characters move at a
frame rate that is
more in keeping with that
of traditional
animation and anime in particular.
