In the first place, a «cooler» and

Although some of these discussions saw
inspiration for this view
in Weber, it can be argued that it was
more generally derived from common notions
in American political theory.
The ministry
in general and the Church, as community and as institution, have been highly aware that false prophets claiming immediate empowerment by the Divine always greatly exceed
in number the true spokesmen for God, that there are

inspiration»), or even «breath of God» or «God's breath.»
More recently, I read some entries
in the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament which challenged my thinking regarding the view of
inspiration itself.
Furthermore, the degree of certainty of such historical aetiology can be increased by the fact that the rational inference is drawn under the light of faith and of
inspiration, as of course happens
in recognition of
more precise precepts of the natural moral law.

The famous «love chapter»
in 1 Corinthians 13 was written less as an
inspiration and
more as a rebuke, because each love attribute was something that the Corinthians were not.
Does it not seem that if the Doctrine of
Inspiration is central to our beliefs about the Bible, clear statements should be
more frequent within the Bible than
in only one hard - to - understand verse?
In this case, the doctrine of the
inspiration of Scripture seems to be
more a matter of human selection for human reasons, rather than a matter of divine and human authorship.
