Here are just a few of my favorites, which have simultaneously made me wish for just a few
more items in my closet (like a great pair of dressed up skinny jeans, pointy - toe pumps, and an oversized scarf).
And just sitting here writing this post I came up with a few
more items in my closet that I want to pair it with.

I think for weeks or even months before I buy something, I even stay with the stuff I order online until the time is due to send them back, to see if I truly want to keep it and to try to find
more than 5 ways to wear it with already existing
items in my
closet.
Seeing olive green as a neutral creates a new way to use those

I can't tell you how many navy and white striped

Otherwise I like to have a lot of variation

closet, so I don't usually buy
items in more than one color.

items are quite old, I don't have any recent purchases to show you, as I'm trying to shop less and make
more use out of the clothes that I already have
in my
closet!
But I get
more comments on those boots when I go out than on any
item in my
closet.
Wool coats can be
more on the pricier side, but are a great investment
item to have
in your
closet.
Tip: If you want to try a little mixed pattern, start with something a little
more subtle and pick

closet that you are very comfortable
in.

closet or at your favorite fashion retailer — just pick up a crown, gloves or ears from party city to complete the look!
I would see clothes that I liked and I would buy them without knowing if I would keep them, if I would grow tired of them or if they would match
more than one
item in my
closet.
I decided to purchase some cute storage boxes (similar here and here) so I could put my scarf collection
in a
more easily accessible place since the bedroom
closet is crammed with other
items.
I swear I wear my black skinny jeans

It's refreshing to see some brighter,
more colorful

closet, especially after all the darker colored clothing that seem to haunt my wardrobe during fall and winter!
Besides emphasis on making
more use of

closet — the only trick is «how» to style them modestly.
I find so much utility
in it because not only does it have multiple pockets for holding multiple
items in true utility form, but
more importantly, it can be worn and layered beautifully with so many different things

closet, which provides so much value to the wearer.
Maybe it's being
in New York surrounded by so many chic fashion girls, or maybe it's that I'm becoming
more mature... nah it's definitely the former... either way, my
closet has recently become filled with

This approach is much
more effective than adding a flashy statement piece from an expensive designer, wearing the
item once or twice, and then having it sit
in the back of the
closet.
You may pay
more money for the
item, but then you spend less
in buying multiple things for your
closet.
The fact of the matter is, there are probably several (if not
more)
items in your
closet that have been hanging untouched for far too long.
Of the
items I bought, a little
more than 1/2 are still
in my
closet as of January 2018.
I cleaned out my
closet yesterday (again) and as I sifted through all my clothing, I realized the older I get the
more I'm drawn to classic pieces — as
in items I will have for a while and not get sick of within a year.
I noticed that I have some
items in my
closet I never get tired of wearing even if they are already 3 or
more years old.
Let's be honest, the simple things that are easy to throw on and put an outfit together are worn so much
more than the other
items hanging
in your
closet.
The key to looking great without packing your entire
closet is: stick to one color palette while choosing
items that can be worn
in different ways, and
more than once.
I think over all I want to invest
more in classic staples so that I can get
more wear out of the trendy,
more inexpensive
items in my
closet... if that makes sense... Because I don't think I will ever have enough will power to stop impulse buying pretty things:) xx
