The text is by no means complete, despite the fact that
more than one set of tablets has been found containing the
story, for most of the tablets have suffered some breakage; but its
main lines can be discerned very well.
Dice have made an effort to make bad Company 2 a
more dark and mature
story, sadly this has resulted in the
main characters swearing every couple of sentences and much of the humour has been lost but it still contains the occasional
line to make you smile and the often cheesy scenes will also bring a smile to your face, though most likely not on purpose.
There is a
main story quest
line for those who want to learn
more about the history of Resonail (as well as a good way to start leveling up your team), but that is mainly for those who may not have access to the online multiplayer portion which is really the meat of the game.
I also quite enjoy the horde mode as it brings much
more replay ability and feels
more valuable then the whole of the
main story line to be frank simply due to the fact i feel as though that is what the
story line should of been rather than it being a much
more stretched out boring version of horde.
Although, there is no
main story line, there are quite a few interesting side quests, but hopefully we can see
more as the game progresses.
I guess Joe Romm thought that Gavin as victim and Curry as evil
story line was
more tempting than emphasizing that
main stream climate scientist objects to having «science is settled» statement attributed to him.
