I love that they work with the bump but they work without one too — I'm over buying
more maternity clothes at this point.
In the case of the baby, simply state that you left your job because you wanted
more maternity leave than the company was willing to provide.
Knowing the gender came especially in handy during my last two months of pregnancy when I didn't want to
buy more maternity clothes but still had the shopping itch to scratch.
Being in my last trimester with a changing season makes dressing a bit more challenging for me because I don't think investing
in more maternity clothes would be smart at this point.
I may replace these
with more maternity tanks when they fall apart, but so far they are holding strong.
I wouldn't
get more maternity clothes because they will make you look like you are still pregnant.
The intuitive feeling is that
more maternity leave is always better; but new research suggests that may not always be the case.
Expect to
see more maternity outfits coming up on the blog soon, as long as I get the motivation to actually get them photographed:)!
Besides, a fulfilling career is certainly nothing to feel guilty about, and my wife loves her job; she just wishes she had a
little more maternity leave time to bond with the baby before going back to it.
