prep - forever kind of person, this bread freezes really well.
I think this is because some of the
more difficult parts of parenting are easier because a) the kids are often pretty good at entertaining each other AND b) when you are with another set of parents that appreciate and identify with the day - to - day struggle of parenting,
meal prep, etc., then it just becomes a little easier.

These Pesto Chicken salad
meal prep bowls are a crowd pleaser and an awesome way to
meal prep if you are looking to eat
more healthy.
As I said in last week's
meal prep post, Draz really liked the General Tso's Chicken, so he requested that I make
more of that.
So this challenge has me a bit
more focused on hitting my macros and eating healthy, energizing food every day and this week's
meal prep definitely satisfies!
I
prep tons of raw and vegan dishes so when I turn to the slow cooker for some
meals, you can imagine how my life just gets way
more simplified while still remaining tasty and healthy.
There's little I love
more than a
meal that delivers wonderful presentation and flavor but with very little effort and
prep.

Thankfully, I plan ahead
more these days with simple solutions for success, like putting up portions of leftover steak in the freezer for future salads,
meal prepping a week's worth of whole grains like quinoa or oatmeal, and placing my scoops of protein powders and recovery drinks into single - serve baggies for a grab - and - go before the gym.

I broke a couple of my steadfast cooking habits in making this bread pudding — a weeknight
meal, it took
more than 20 minutes to
prep,
more like an hour; secondly, I followed the recipe almost exactly.

more tip to make this a fast dinner is to
prep this a few days ahead and if you really like this, make a triple batch and store 2 batches in the freezer for an easy
meal.
I like my
meal prepped food but I'm sorry, if I'm in the house, I'm gonna make
more fun stuff like crepes and pancakes:p So Saturday morning I used some of the Chili Pumkin Turkey Meatloaf I had to make a brand new
meal!

All the time that went into learning how to cook decent
meals at home, shopping, cooking,
prepping, cleaning the dishes afterward... Healthy living was way
more demanding than I had expected.
This would help me make sure I take my lunch to work

I tend to use both — as cans can help you save
prep time and get a healthy
meal on the table

I kept up my workouts for the most part and while I
prepped my food for the day, there ended up being a lot
more cheat -
meal dinners, drinks and extra snacking (read: tons of chocolate and peanut butter with a spoon from the jar).

I think my newer, less extreme, version of
meal prep took over for two reasons: 1) I no longer work a 9 - to - 5 and have a lot
more flexibility in my life and 2) I just simply found a lot less value in spending hours in the kitchen on Sunday when I could be out doing something else.
This Pumpkin Black Bean Chili looks like one of the
more hearty and homely
meal prep dishes which is what drew me to it.
