With so much on the line - and a full decade
of movies leading up to its story - Avengers: Infinity
War is undoubtedly one
of the most anticipated superhero
movies of all time (though we're anticipating one other 2018 film even
more).
Finally to once
more capitalize on Infinity
War hype without actually using anything from the
movie, a standalone comics version
of Thanos is also on the way, complete with both an alternate, Infinity Gauntlet - clad hand, and a smiling face for good measure.
Various comments from directors
of Marvel
movies, characters rumors, and plot points set up in
more than a few films, all seem to point to the MCU being totally different after Infinity
War.
As it stands, the King
of the hype machine is Marvel, who continue from a record - breaking 2017 with three major releases: in February they have their first person -
of - color led
movie Black Panther, then in May is the start
of the epic, two - part culmination Avengers: Infinity
War, and finally in July Ant - Man and the Wasp will offer some
more classical, family - focused heroics.
