If Wenger can't be motivated enough to take some revenge
on Mourinho, not even for the sake
of the fans, after 12 losses... If his can ship 17 goals in 3
games against
top level opposition and still continue with a similar approach to
games, then I don't know what will ever really drive this guy to overhaul his tactical approach to compete
more fiercely against big teams...
I don't think it's a gamble that should be enough to win n if it doesn't seem to be working unleash santi, ozil, sanchez I just feel in regards to priority the chelsea
game could really define our season therefore that is
more important, win it n what a Massive boost it will give Lose n all the negativity press etc comes flooding back in n right
on top of Arsenal.
The broadcaster will always try to show
more games where the stars are and it is also another revenue
on the
top of the TV deals so Have you asked yourself how much Alexis has brought to the team?
Bottom line, if he is angered bench the players who were not good enough and play those who deserve some
game time based
on the Southampton
game or
on games where they had a positive impact: - Take Özil out and play Ox in the hole (he has to understand your the highest paid player
of the club, your given freedom like nobody else and your even seeking even
more money with a new contract you can't play like that ever and go AWOL)- Put Sanchez
on the wing or up
top but put Welbeck in (Walcott didn't track back near enough for the Alsonso goal)- Iwobi has been bright from the wing let him play there - Xhaka has to go back in the holding midfield role and I would take out Coquelin because he could've taken a foul
on the hazard's goal.
Alexis came with a good spirit, seing Ozil
on board, thinking a team would be built around them but year after year, it is no
top class addition with a guessing
game plan, weakness all over the pitch, players out
of position, a team scared to play and lost as manager... Sanchez then started to ask
more money, we said no as to Ozil; waiting 6 month later to be
on last year contract... The all management is nuts and Alexis or any players try until they get fed up, Ozil plays to get fit for wrld cup and his value back...
obviously I would prefer to have a much
more suitable alternative in the defensive midfielder positions but if they focused
more on defensive end and the occasional long - ball, this would allow Bellerin and Sead ample opportunities to bomb forward
on their respective wings while still having enough cover to maintain their defensive shape... it would likewise allow for overlapping runs
on both wings, thereby letting both Sanchez and Perez to cut inside and get shots away in and around the
top of the box with their most dominant feet... if goals were needed I would sub Bellerin for OX and bring Ramsey in for Elneny then switch to a 3 -2-4-1 (
more of a 3 -1-5-1 with Ramsey playing higher up the pitch) and I would only use Giroud as a sub when the
game dictated it for tactical reasons... this would allow us to be a high energy team with incredible link - up play and a much
more direct approach in the offensive end
When Giroud is
on his
game he's excellent the difference between him and op strikers like Aguero is Aguero has
more consistency and can get the goal agains a
top team when its tight.im not sure any
of the strikers mentioned are what we need, we need an aguero type player which none
of the mentioned are.
cause even the goal difference isnt such a problem, if we want to go
top the would have to lose 2
games and if they lose 2
games the difference in gd would sink atleast to just 3 between us and then if we win the
games it would sink to atleast 1 so if we score 2 goals
more than them in the other 6
games of us we would be
top, well as long as spurs give up 4 points and i strongly believe that they will lose points, cause they are beatable cause they wont play like leicester only
on the break but would also want to dominate some
games and against liverpool / southampton that will be dangerous
It's funny how he said we are better than Liverpool overrall forgetting that in terms
of players we were still better than them last season yet the beat us home and away.Liverpool team is not so good yet out
of all the
top four team they're the ones who play their hearts out. That's why Liverpool didn't lose a single
game to a
top four team last season though
on paper they should have.As for Tottenham if you look at their team they just need a few
more signings and consistency so I don't know what's the big deal about them. The painful this is they could've won the league if not for draws. It was a disgrace for any
of those two to finish over us last season because
on paper it shouldn't be so.This should tell you that it's not all about the team you have. Some it's about luck, sometimes it's about giving your best and sometimes it's just meant to be.
If the first XI is off the boil, we should be seeing
more of the likes
of Iwobi or Campbell, and in future years we have a whole line
of players who are out
on loan working
on their
game, one can hope many
of them will blossom into
top quality players.
The Arsenal fans who have had enough
of Wenger and believe that there must be a change at the

game without their title winning manager and the change in all
of their effort and application
on the pitch was clear to see.
«We know we have a good squad and we are

I respect him a ton for what he did as a fighter but I remember as far back in the last days
of PRIDE it was clear that he wasn't
on top of the
game any
more.
I thought people here were debating about two or three seasons back why he should be our
top striker. When I thought the Monaco match was the icing
on the cake to show how average he was it seems just like Wenger we» will never learn our lesson. Now people our okay with him being a super sub which is debatable.Giroud was a super sub in
games last season because he wasn't played when he was supposed to.He's not your ideal super sub because he very hardly creates but rather requires people to create for him. Most
of the time super subs are the one's who tend to create the chances and open up spaces in the opposition defence.West ham are ready to pay and hence we should demand
more from them.We can then use the money from his sale
on far better players.Given the same seasons, time and chances a lot
of average strikers can do better than what he did. This is because Arsenal create a lot
of chances and it just needs someone who can finish.Goodbye!.
A club run by joe Lewis lol when was the last fuking time Spurs won a trophy give it a fuking rest Wenger has won
more trophies then spuds in their whole fuking history Sick
of plastic fans constantly knocking the manager and players like you are fuking genius experts in knowing all about football We have the worst fan base in football a bunch
of ingrates Why would any
top player come and join Arsenal when they see how fans treat their own players like ozil Lol at people talking about Spurs and pool fukers don't win any trophies but their fans stay loyal ours turn nasty every
game werther we win or lose It won't change even if we get a new manager they will turn
on him at first defeat What we need is for the vocal minority
of plastic key board fans to fuk off and stop bringing the club down Coyg

Last but least Ozïl, the talent is there and we know it:
on any given day at the
top of his form he is arguably the best # 10 in the world and just need performances like this and the previous one to show it and remind everyone (what a pass for Giroud); will do a lot for his confidence and also felt he could've been
more involved in the team play but that will come with
game time (got 90 mins today)... Hopefully that doesn't stop until season's end and keep them passes and goals coming... Dare I say I would've love to see once a front
of Alexis, Ozïl, Walcott / Chamberlaine and Cazorla (mouthwatering)!!!
I'm I da only one watching Utd beating Leicester first they get pen den a goal which was
more offside than lacasettes, da
game is currupt I mean we lose tom to Liverpool and we're out title chase already 3
games in haha like why are Man Utd rite at it why are we always under strength start league now sky sports are getting mustafi and we're getting no replacement like wat is going

on will somebody explain me wat is wrong or wats going
on
I hope I'm wrong but this could be the most damaging win when it comes to transfers... winning 1
game, after about 20 minutes
of really good play, is
of little consequence in the grand scheme
of things... only those with the most selfish
of intentions would suggest otherwise... the only reason we're even in this predicament, where were celebrating our first victory
of 2018 against a bottom half squad who is managed by possibly the only individual
more antiquated than our manager, is because
of Wenger's ridiculous mishandling
of his contract last year combined with his mishandling
of the contracts
of our
top players this year; a fact that he himself admitted to... so before you get too excited about the possibilities
of our current roster don't forget what has happened over the last several years and pray to the gods
of football that real quality reinforcements like Auba are
on the way, which could have happened years ago for less money and we might have been holding a trophy
of some significance, or this brief respite will be followed by the usual mediocrity and stagnation
Players scores Chech 8.5
top saves when needed Monreal 7 good steady
game as always Mert 6 did ok The boss 6 looked tired Bel 7.5 good
game needs work
on crossing Walcot 5 did less than iwobi Cmpbell 7.5 worked hard, in front
of ox and walcott anyway Flamini 7 steady Ox 4 poor all
game not a clue how he gets a
game Ramsey 5 very selfish player, if barca pay 50m take it and sigh Barkley for 35 Giroud 6.5 missed very good chance and doesn't hold the ball up at important times but had an ok performance Iwobi 7 did
more than walcott in 15 mins Chambers not
on long enough
What this means is really we need West Ham to do us one
more favour against Liverpool this weekend for us to make
Top 4, if we win our
games of course, and we can if we show up starting with an away trip to Southampton
on Wednesday.
Anyway it is the first
game, but back to reality for all those who thought we were going to win the league or were contender... Same old Arsenal (and Wenger) not bringing the players we need and gambling
on guys like Welbeck (sh*t player), Wilshere (eternal hope, but will never be
top) and
more of the same Wenger craps!
We are at the
top and its important we cement this position if we intend to become champions
of this league, our long term injured players can not be depended
on to win the title, when they may need 5 or
more games to get into
top gear, which may cause the lost
of valuable points, so this janaury window may be the most vital window for arsenal in many years.
Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass
of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but to be considered the best you have to bring
more than just assists to the table... for me, a
top player has to possess a
more well - rounded
game, which doesn't mean they need to be a beast
on both ends
of the pitch, but they must have the ability to take their
game to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early
on, it set the bar too high, so when people expected him to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed to get the best
of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse for what has happened in the meantime, but it's important to make note
of a few things: (1) his best year was a transition year for many
of the traditionally dominant teams in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by playing him out
of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right - side forward that would best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss
of Cazorla, who took a lot
of pressure off Ozil in the midfield and was highly efficient when it came to getting him the ball in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk
of games and frankly never looked himself when he eventually returned to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether for Real or the German National team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal... to me that goes directly to this club's inability to surround him with the necessary players to succeed, especially for someone who is a pass first type
of player; as such, this simply highlights our club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed in both Ozil and our management team for not stepping up when it counted because they had a chance to do something special, but they didn't have it in them... there is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief moments
of greatness undercut by long periods
of disappointing play, only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
After we gave Chelski a good spanking last season in probably Conte's fifth or sixth
game in charge he immediately re organised them and went through till the new year unbeaten. He had them very solid at the back and scoring goals for fun.And all this with a squad
of players he inherited and their
top striker Costa wanting Away. They ended up romping to the Premiere League Title scoring loads
more goals and conceding far less than Wengers Arsenal. We by the way are treading water at best this season and would not bet
on us finishing above Chelski even allowing for the season they are having.
The committee tries to avoid rematches in the New Year's Six

on potential semifinal matchups.
Brittany Davis (another 2018 recruit but not one
of the ESPN
top 100) would be the most likely to be the one spot shooter
on the floor most
of the time next season and reportedly has a
more complete offensive
game than Blair or Ro as she can also dribble, drive, and score, not just spot shoot 3s.
I agree with you the players need some heat to perform to theor abilities and stop wasting created opportunities to kill
games and or hold onto leads and i agree they need some heat to kick em in the arse to prevent them from under performing against milan but milan isnt city or chelsea but we need to beat them to get far in competition but i do nt think the players missing chances this year is whole heartey down to the manager and we need to finish out the year strong but with cazorla comong back and strengthening some spots in off season and now praying we finally have jack back this squad looks dangerous next year and wenger will have a good year with arsenal next year cazorla and another player will take time off xhaka and or put
more pressure
on him to perform but we have had success in recent seasons barley missing out
on top four last year with highest points to ever miss out yes they need heat to perform strong rest
of year but it is not wengers time to go yet be needs another season and if these two years are falling off we have done better than are rivals in are tough years
Kos was class last night always looking to pass forward and drive forward from the back and he got the same as ramsey: / Ozil once again showing his class Walcott worked hard as well BFG actually good
game against
top opposition without getting caught out to far up field Bellerin needs to concentrate a bit
more on his defending
of late but you can let him off as hes still only 20
Yes we have attacking options
on the wings (sanchez) and in CAM and Giroud is doing an admirable job and Walcott could do a job down the middle but if we want to win
more games and finish
top, as well as having goals from the rest
of the team we need a demon who will bang in 25 - 30 goals for our goal difference and to pounce when it's tight and that 1 chance falls your way.
Arsenal face Newcastle today looking down

The

A third - quarter rushing touchdown put the Ravens back

Whoever wins this pivotal
game will reach the league's summit, albeit briefly if Watford win against Ipswich later in the day, but at this stage
of the season with the table as congested as it is, creating some breathing space will be
more important for the team that comes out
on top on the south coast.
«He wants me to stay focused and, the
more both

top of our

Why was Lacazette being played
on the wing? He's not that kind
of player. He prefers try to linkup with players ahead
of him and hardly tries to dribble. He should have been played in the centre where he» smost effective with his finishing and movement. We him to get to
top form and to gel with the team. He's our hope this season no matter who leaves. Also I watched only the second half
of the
game but what's this I'm hearing about Giroud not passing to Lacazette or refusing his handshake?I hope what I'm hearing is not true.A lot
of our players are still here due to Wenger's kindness and if those players don't show respect they must be shown the door.I was very impressed with Nketiah and Joe Willock today.I wanted to see
more of Malen though.
He admits that this had been making our
games against Chelsea
more difficult that they might otherwise have been, but now that we have removed this mental obstacle from the players» minds there should be nothing to stop Arsenal from having a fantastic season and finishing
on top of the table next May.
In one

Although it will be incredibly difficult to ever match his contributions
on the pitch, it's vitally important for a former club legend, like Henry, to publicly address his concerns regarding the direction
of this club... regardless
of those who still feel that Henry has some sort
of agenda due to the backlash he received following earlier comments he made
on air regarding Arsenal, he has an intimate understanding
of the
game, he knows the fans are being hosed and he feels some sense
of obligation, both professionally and personally, to tell it like he sees it... much like I've continually expressed over the last couple months, this team isn't evolving under this current ownership / management team... instead we are currently experiencing a «stagnant» phase in our club's storied history... a fact that can't be hidden by simply changing the formation or bringing in one or two individuals... this team needs fundamental change in the way it conducts business both
on and off the pitch or it will continue to slowly devolve into a second tier club... regardless
of the euphoria surrounding our escape act
on Friday evening, as it stands, this club is
more likely to be fighting for a Europa League spot for the foreseeable future than a
top 4 finish... we can't hope for the failures
of others to secure our place in the
top 4, we need to be the manufacturers
of our own success by doing whatever is necessary to evolve as an organization... if Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke can't take the necessary steps following the debacle they manufactured last season, their removal is imperative for our future success... unfortunately, I strongly believe that either they don't know how to proceed in the present economic climate or they are unwilling to do whatever it takes to turn this ship around... just look at the current state
of our squad, none
of our world class players are under contract beyond this season, we have a ridiculous wage bill considering the results, we can't sell our deadwood because we've mismanaged our personnel decisions and contractual obligations, we haven't properly cultivated our younger talent and we might have become one
of the worst clubs ever when it comes to way we handle our transfer business, which under Dein was one
of our greatest assets... it's time to get things right!!!
On top of that you add in to the mix that they started so poorly under a new manager it is even
more impressive that they won so many
games after the Arsenal defeat.
This is a decent article, yet the negatives from fans are still there, I would love to see arsenal like I did at the end
of the 90's and at the beggining
of the 2nd millennium but it doesn't mean in order to do so I would buy all the best players in world, I would get a rich owner to put his filthy money in, change the manager every 2 years to do so, there's so much wrong in football nowadays that yes it's still a sport but there's
more focus
on the filthy amounts
of money being spent
on clubs and players that I think attracts
more attention than the
game itself, now that is wrong and it's very wrong, even our owner though not like the arabs or Russians, yet the yank is clueless about the tradition
of our
game, it's just sad, so the fact that Wenger has remained for this long through all these changes that have occurred whilst the money
game has elvolved, it makes me happy that arsenal do not spend stupid amounts
of money
on players, we don't try and buy the league, hell we even tight with wages and transfer fees, I'm glad it's like that, though our season ticket is a rip off I still don't mind it because at least we are not like the other supreme teams, there's a bit
of tradition left at our club, yet you go to man shitty or Chelski, there is no tradition, it's all about buying ur way all the way to the
top,
on the other hand spuds don't know what to make
of them besides how the heck have they finished above us?
Also
on tap Jan. 14 is Del Oro - Loomis vs. Oak Ridge - El Dorado Hills, which brings together two
of the
top teams from the Sacramento area at 5:30, and then
on Jan. 16, Kennedy - Sacramento and St. Francis - Sacramento will play the 2:30
game, matching two
more teams with aspirations
of a deep postseason run.
Given the recent run
of games, the opponent and the energy expended
on Tuesday night, this was a very good result, if we are
top of the league by the end
of today does not impact that, its
more fuel to the fire
of belief spreading around the Emirates and the Arsenal blogosphere and fandom, lets hope it continues to roll
on.
We hold a bit
of an advantage in that we still have five home
games to play, which is
more than any
of the others, but
on the other hand we have
more teams in the
top six to play in our remaining fixtures.
