With your theory already completed before you get here, the first two days will be spent in the pool and enjoying the first two open water dives, and then two
more open water dives on the third and final day.

more day of training is needed with the Deep and Underwater Navigation
Dives.
Your package includes 5 days diving (beginners can choose to use the time to earn their padi
Open Water Certification) with world class
dive experts Divers Down (includes 5 Days, Two boat
dives includes tanks, weights and air), leaving
more than enough time to enjoy some of the array of activities available — Golf,
dive, have a drink at the pool — the possibilities are endless.
If you have one
more day, you can complete the 5
dives over 2 days and be known as an Advanced
Open Water Diver.
If you complete the first step and become an Adventure Diver, you can complete 2
more adventure
dives to become an Advanced
Open Water Diver, and then the real fun starts.
If you make
more than one
open water dive on the same day; or,
dive over two or
more days, wait 18 hours (PADI Discover Scuba Diving Booklet, 2013).
After
open water training is complete, most divers spend a few
more days diving on our Two Tank Boat Trip and go on the world famous Kona Manta Ray Night
Dive.
After completing the Discover Scuba
dive, you complete some
more theory, a further pool session and another
open water dive to become certified to
dive to 12m.

How hypocritical that many
dive operators have a no gloves rule, yet they happily allow any joker with an
open water cert and 35
dives to take down a colossal set of equipment, which controls them
more than they control it!

Open Water certified diver can also do an «Adventure Deep»

more one - on - one time with the instructor.

Open Water follows the
Open Water and gives you
more confidence and experience, can
dive up to 100 feet - 30 mts.
AquaMarine recommends doing your
Open Water dives in Tulamben Bay (we believe this is where you'll really fall in love with diving) or in Blue Lagoon just outside Padangbai on Bali's east coast rather than at the inferior reefs, with
more difficult conditions, in the south of Bali.

Richelieu's remote location is not sheltered from the
open water and recommended for the
more advanced diver due to changing currents which can be mild to strong, but also mean that the best way to experience Richelieu Rock is via
dive liveaboard.
You have to make one
dive focusing on Underwater Navigation, expanding on the compass usage skills which you learned about in the
Open water Course, and teaching you about «natural navigation'techniques so that you can find your way
more effectively by simply paying attention to the environment around you.
Divers who are not Advanced
Open water or above with some experience in currents should also accept
dive centers» recommendations and understand that they need
more experience before they can access the wall that borders the deep channel beyond the bay.
After your confined
water fun, you will make five
open water dives (note: the course only requires 4
dives, we throw in 2
more dives for free!)
For divers with
more than an
Open Water certification, Tzimin - Ha, Xaak, Gonzalo's Reef and Trigger Fish are deeper reef
dives.
You can try your first breaths underwater in a pool while learning a few skills to make you
more confident to then
dive with your instructor in
open water.
You can go diving at night (note: only on liveaboards), check out the local wreck, learn
more about marine life, learn about drift
dives, boat diving and
more — all during your PADI Advanced
Open Water Diver course.

Our
dive centre in Gran Canaria is
open all year round so that you can enjoy yourself diving here when northern
waters are cold and uninviting, but
more that that, this is the time of year when we can have some of the best diving of the year!.
There are easy «chill
dives» at 8 - 14m with lots of marine life; good recreational
dives at around 18 - 20m which suit all
Open Water or 1 - star divers; and
more challenging explorations for
more qualified divers including a
dive down to 30m to see the local gorgonia.
You'll get hands - on training during one confined
water session and four
open water dives where you'll start with two tanks and add at least two
more, maybe even getting to six sidemounted cylinders.
