I'm not sure if it's because there's so much more for me to utilise or because I have hardly any clothes with me (shoes are not worth the baggage weight when there's shopping to be done in south - east Asia) but I always find it more challenging to shoot outfit photos.

The outfits that inspire me to create more, play with color and liven up my life are fewer and far between, however I have dug through all of the photos to still find some looks from this past week that I still love.

Back to the outfit (oops), I looked at photos of this place before I went on picking out my outfits and I thought it would be «out of the place» if I were to wear my usual attire of (mostly) black so I went for something that matches the theme of this museum more.

I'm currently in the market for a more compact camera because the size and impracticality of my DSLR really dissuades me from taking outfit photos, plus I'm looking to travel more so a compact camera is essential.

I blog all the outfit photos I take too — the good and the bad and the awkward angles and the frowning face... we are more than just an outfit photo.

First let me tell you that this outfit was photographed by my mother, and there are only a few photos because she couldn't handle my camera well, and I didn't want to bother her more.

Not only do I like the 1910's inspired outfit (which is a bit different of a style for me, and one that I am incorporating more and more into my wardrobe), but the photos were taken on the brink of a summer thunderstorm!

During the day a blogger could be running to multiple shows, scrambling to squeeze through the crowds to snap those coveted photos for coverage for their blogs, taking outfit posts, hailing down cabs, grabbing the subway to make it to the many events or meetings each day brings and much more.

I would love to see more DIYs and receipes or behind the scenes of how you take such amazing photos or choose your outfits!

Also, the juxtaposition of the outfit photos, with a more «meaty» post reminds me of fashion forward and art design magazine spreads (ID, W magazine).
