Even while women clamor for
more paternal involvement in domestic chores and childrearing, political feminists refuse to accept shared parenting, typically alluding to concerns about father violence and insisting that women know best about children.
Still, it raises an interesting question: Where do we, as a species, reside along the spectrum of behavior that suggests that greater fidelity is associated with
more paternal care?
There's little reason to believe that scientists are defying these trends
toward more paternal involvement.
This new,
more paternal Kratos creates a whole different character and appears like it could make the story way more of a personal experience.

a more paternal role, becoming a wise head or an inspiration.

Studies have shown that
more paternal involvement in parenting is associated with more favorable outcomes in terms of academic performance (Winquist - Nord, 1998), peer relations and psychological adjustment (Amato, 1994; Phares & Compas, 1992), prevention of substance abuse (Phares, 1998), and outcomes of behavioral parent training programs (Webster - Stratton, 1985).
