I think it is a good idea to invest in
more expensive
pieces if (and only if) they really are made better than a cheaper alternative and it's also okay to go for a
more inexpensive find if the
quality seems to be good.

pieces in which you feel good in, & are

I felt it was about time I actually invested in a few
more quality & tailored
pieces rather than continue getting caught up in the fast fashion trap of Zara which is my usual store of choice.
I want to invest
more in timeless
pieces and high -
quality fabrics.
More recently, I've started investing in key
pieces that I can wear everyday —
pieces that are high -
quality, versatile, well - made, and just well, beautiful (and functional).
These days I've been finding myself investing in simple
quality pieces that go with everything else in my wardrobe but have the added bonus of
more luxurious fabrics and detailing.
One of my favourite destinations to check for great
quality, authentic
pieces but pre-loved and therefore much
more affordable than at the store ones is Vestiaire Collective.
From purchasing these culottes in today's look & the red version earlier this year, investing in a few
quality basics (loving these Jigsaw tops — they're really comfortable & great
quality) and picking up a few new
pieces in the boxing day sales (i've linked a few
pieces above in case you're interested & added them to my shop page here), I'm really hoping to make
more of an effort with my style this year.
Sure, you might spend a little
more upfront, but in the long run, you're investing your money in
quality pieces that are well made and ethically made.

more and
more how important
quality pieces are, especially basics that can be worn often.
All of their top -
quality pieces are handmade with love in limited quantities (no
more than 50 is made of any one design).
Partly because I get
more bang for my buck (I have gotten amazing
quality clothes at bargain prices, and «junk» for cents), partly because if I am lucky, I can get unique
pieces, and also because of the way I live (travel full - time, often in remote Australia, working ind grubby / isolated conditions), I often can not get in to physically shop — I am a tactile shopper, online purchasing does not do it for me, I need to feel the clothes.
While you can sometimes catch these things at Ross and TJ Maxx, I tend to find higher
quality pieces (and some that haven't been play with yet)
more at seasonal sales.
I'm still working and wear suits
more often in the cooler weather than in the summer, but I do appreciate good
quality pieces that will last for
more than a year.
Looking at my wardrobe I feel
more and
more that most of it is
quality essentials, with stand out vintage
pieces and an occasional designer
piece.
However, I personally find it harder to pair bigger and
more colorful jewelry, so I tend to stick with very high
quality, dainty smaller
pieces.
They are graceful, endlessly chic
pieces made from such
quality fabrics such as cotton, rayon, and
more.
As I get older, I am
more into good

pieces that I can wear to death.
Investing in higher
quality pieces can heighten your workout; you're likely to run faster in shorts that won't cause chafing, and you'd probably feel
more comfortable with heavy lifting in a T - shirt that isn't damp with perspiration.
I thought the fully - lined
quality was good for the price, so don't mind getting alterations on a
more unique
piece.
Their selection might not be as vast as AT or LOFT but I believe each of their
pieces are
more classic & make better wardrobe staples and I would say
quality is much better than LOFT and almost at par with AT.
I still have
quality pieces that I've owned for 15 years or
more.
For a staple
piece that can be worn for years to come, consider spending a little
more for good
quality and any alterations needed for a perfect fit.
I couldn't resist pre-ordering a few

The right bag in a way is
more than just a bag, it is an ice breaker, a conversation

more conscious shopper - it's like transitioning to a vegetarian / vegan diet..
They used to be a reliable source of good
quality, classic apparel and now it seems like their suiting / work clothes are still okay, but so many of their
pieces are trendy,
more expensive, and far worse
quality in terms of fabric and construction.
