It is very tempting, and much
more reassuring, simply to dismiss today's prophets of doom as
scare -
mongers.
There's a lot of
scare -
mongering out there about soy, but unless you're allergic, I'm of the opinion that it's totally fine to eat soy foods from time to time, especially in their
more traditional forms (tempeh, edamame, natto, miso and tofu).
I think we definitely need
more people shouting about the benefits of cardio and far less people
scare mongering about its made up downsides.
They've caused electricity to be far
more expensive than it could and should be, caused global GHG emissions to be 10 - 20 % higher than it could have been and caused the rate of emissions reductions over the coming decades to be very much slower than it would be of not for their irrational, ideologically driven
scare mongering.
Knowing full well that their «produce in China and sell in the West» model and its [consequent] spiral downward in wages and thus standards of living, was unsustainable, the elites moved to use this new «science» to guilt trip and
scare monger their populations into smaller and
more conservatives forms of living.
