It sure sounds like something
scary is going on from the
music cues, but as we sit in the audience waiting for that
scary something to occur, we grow less and less certain on the ability to deliver, especially as we snicker
more and
more at what's happening on the screen.
If you're talking about genres outside of horror then
music can make you cry or it can make you feel a little
more tense or excited, but with horror stuff you put the
music in, or audio in general, and the movie goes from
scary to down right terrifying.
It makes whatever you are seeing that much
scarier as the
music gets
more and
more intense.

music, and... can I just say that it's starting to get
scary how much random video you can find on YouTube nowadays?

scary than carefully placed jump scares and eerie
music (take that, Resident Evil).
