Its India - based partner was most recently said to have been developing a BlackBerry device code - named «Ghost,» with that product supposedly lacking a physical QWERTY keyboard and instead being envisioned as a
more conventional contemporary smartphone with slim
bezels and an all -
screen aesthetic.
There is something about the device that just seems really small — even
more so than other e-readers in the same measurement ballpark — but that's likely due to the fact that the
screen and
bezel lay flat like many tablets (but not necessarily e-readers) on the market.
While the Paperwhite's
screen is slightly recessed, the Oasis»
screen sits flush with its
bezel, which makes the Oasis look cleaner and
more streamlined.
It feels
more modern, although I would have liked to see the
screen flush with the
bezel like the quintessential smartphone or tablet.
This is a great e-reader because the
screen is entirely flush with the
bezel, allowing for a
more fluid touchscreen experience.
Bezel is of same size as that of iPad but the
screen is a bit
more glossy.
First off white plastic generally tends to look just a tad
more... plasticky than when it comes in black, and second, the black
screen, white
bezel and silver outer surround add too many disparate layers.
The Voyage has
more contrast than the new Paperwhite, and its
screen is flush with the
bezel.
With less
bezel and larger
screen they will need a mighty good battery along with the
more processing power.

I wish the nook had
more features like kindles xray, wordrunner,... etc I find the new Glowlight 3 to be fast and responsive The only improvement i need to see is a thinner
bezel and a larger
screen otherwise I really like my Nook.

It's accurate, quick and has no effect on the
screen image, beyond making the
screen bezel that little bit

As had been previously rumored, Apple made the side
bezels on its new tablet significantly thinner than most seven - inch tablets, thus giving the device significantly

Although the Mini's total size is not too much bigger than the Kindle Fire HD, it has a much smaller
bezel along the edges and significantly
more screen real estate.

I think it's a good enough design, but of course it could be better: same size, but with thinner
