soaking the
dates, do they need to be refrigerated or can they sit out on the counter?
Usually when I
soak beans, I tend to
soak more than the recipe calls for so I can use them for other recipes at a later
date.
If your
dates are
more firm, start
soaking them in room temperate / warmer water now.
