The Department for Education (DfE) says teacher recruitment is improving and that there are currently
more teachers in the classroom than ever before.

The unions say their figures show that cuts to school budgets are hitting the front line, but the Department for Education suggested the numbers are «fundamentally misleading», and claimed there were «15,000

While some have regularly portrayed evaluation as a tool for firing bad teachers, evaluation is actually a starting point for keeping
more teachers in our classrooms and making them better.
A simple accounting of all the teaching positions lost in the great recessions reveals that the nation would need 377,000
more teachers in the classroom just to keep pace not to mention combat the shameful shortage of teachers of color.
The plan would put
more teachers in classrooms and add social support services to the school, which struggles to meet the needs of students from families that move often, many of whom are non-native English speakers.

more like a hatted Frisbee than the toys tormenting

in these schools, where students are most
in need of help internalizing extrinsic motivations,
classroom environments often push them
in the opposite direction: toward
more external control, fewer feelings of competence, and less positive connection with
teachers.
More important than the labels of «play - based» or «academic - focused,» though, is what actually happens
in the
classroom and how
teachers respond to emotional situations, so ask about specific scenarios when you're considering a school.

teachers develop a deeper understanding and experience of phenomena - based science so that they can feel
more confident using this method
in their own
classrooms.
